Le papier peint est le moyen le plus rapide de changer cela : un couloir, un escalier et un palier habillés d'un beau design procurent instantanément une sensation accueillante, réfléchie et pleine de caractère. Et comme c'est un espace que l'on traverse plutôt que l'on ne s'y attarde, le couloir est l'endroit idéal pour être un peu plus audacieux qu'ailleurs.

Ce qui fonctionne dans un couloir
Les couloirs sont mis en valeur par des motifs avec rythme et mouvement. Une rayure est un choix classique – accrochée verticalement, elle flatte la hauteur d'une cage d'escalier et attire le regard vers le haut des marches. Un motif de petite ou moyenne taille vous attire à travers un espace étroit sans l'écraser. Et comme vous ne vous y attardez pas, un couloir est un endroit merveilleux pour un design dramatique et sombre ou une caractéristique audacieuse qui semblerait excessive dans une pièce où vous restez assis pendant des heures. Les motifs floraux, botaniques, d'oiseaux et patrimoniaux apportent tous une vraie chaleur et personnalité à un couloir.
Escaliers et paliers
Un escalier est un cadeau pour le papier peint : l'élévation verticale donne au design un endroit où s'élever, et une rayure ou un motif floral qui monte le long de la cage d'escalier est l'une des plus belles choses dans une maison. Les paliers, souvent oubliés, deviennent un point fort lorsqu'ils reprennent le motif, liant l'étage et le rez-de-chaussée en un tout cohérent.
Conçu pour durer
Les couloirs sont les murs les plus sollicités de la maison – sacs, manteaux, pieds affairés – c'est pourquoi la finition est importante. Notre papier épais (300 g/m², avec une texture sable subtile) est le choix robuste et résistant pour les couloirs et cages d'escalier très fréquentés. Le papier traditionnel (150 g/m², super mat) convient aux espaces plus calmes, et le papier amovible pelable et collable (180 g/m²) est idéal pour les locataires. Tous sont imprimés sur commande sur du papier certifié FSC, sans PVC ni COV.
Les couloirs manquent souvent de lumière naturelle, alors commandez un échantillon et voyez votre couleur dans l'espace avant de vous engager.

Loved the pattern. Looks so nice in our home. Harley spring eucalyptus. Matches perfectly with Benjamin Moore seabrook sage. Great coordinate with our powder bath that has Hilda Spring peel and stick paper. Thanks do letting us have so many color choices. As well as seasonal tones.
Applying the wallpaper was a new experience for me, but I’m very happy with the outcome. It was great to have the freedom to reposition the paper when necessary as I figured out a good process.
The paper is beautiful, easy to work with (according to my husband!) and it looks so good. Really happy with it, the tracker is helpful to know where it’s at ahead of arriving and so pleased with the finished result. We got the Autumn version and the colouring is stunning, even my teenage son has been talking about how cosy the room is now!

This wallpaper is gorgeous and an instant upgrade to our dining room. I have received so many compliments on this wallpaper. The print is delicate and makes a statement without being overpowering. We ordered extra rolls, and customer service was fantastic with our return request. I have recommended this company to all my friends!

Absolutely love this wallpaper, needed 4 rolls for the room but completely worth it. Absolutely stunning and excellent to use. Not a fan of wallpapering but this felt so easy because it’s thick so more manageable and blended smoothly
This window seat has never had much personality, and the blue cabinets have always needed an accent that ties them to the overall space. The Amelia pattern was perfect, and the removable wallpaper was very forgiving as I learned how best to line things up well. I’m very happy with the result!

Pattern: Lilypad for my bedroom and absolutely Love it! Very gorgeous! My contractor said the paper was really good quality and, when he put it up, it didn't curl at all. Will definitely order from Clare & Key again.
This was my first attempt at hanging wallpaper. Luckily, our walls were fairly square. I have no comparison, but I found this paper very user friendly. I would gladly shop with you again, and intend to hang more paper in future. Thank you!
